As a child, Thomas always dreamed of being an artist. But he couldn’t decide on what kind, so he decided to be a filmmaker, because that has a little bit of everything. As a screenwriter, director, and editor, he has dedicated his life to bringing his visions to life alongside his best friend since birth.

A jack-of-all trades, Curtis Nishimoto has made it his mission to learn every aspect of the filmmaking process that he can. In addition to directing, his primary focus is the camera department. He’s dabbled in everything from 16mm film and digital cinema cameras to camcorders and mobile phones. He is also no stranger to the editor’s chair, cutting together his own work and the projects of others.

Operation: Wet Paint is a family action comedy short film that follows adventurous eighth grader JD (Jaeden White) and his friends as they embark on a quest for justice.
